Week15: An innovated way to give feedback


The topic for this week has really called my attention especially because I have already lived the experience to have personal feedback through the technology and with the usage of the computer. In my opinion, this is a good method to get closer to the student to explain the details about their   evaluations.

In addition, it is important to take into a consideration that giving feedback through the technology might take more time for the teacher to be recorder and explain little by little the reasons why the students have a specific grade. However, with this methology  teachers will evoke any doubt or complain from the students at the time to receive their evaluation results, also it will help to the students to be clear on specific points in their task,and  even though teachers might have different manners to give feedback, this would be the most apropiate way to do or to  release comments for the students . In fact, I hold the opinion that giving personal feedback to students through a video or through a recorded voiced can make students to have a better simplification of their performance, especially because the teacher is the one who is taking the time to explain systematically the results, evoking just giving feedback by writing hand. So, If I had the opportunity to give personal feedback to my students I would chose for sure the metodology of the usage of the computer.

Week13:Letting students express themselves in the classroom

Week 13: Letting students to express in the classroom 

My personal view about this topic is that letting students express themselves in the classroom is important because in that way teachers can easily identify the students who really have understood the topic, and the ones who really need to have a better clarification on it.  In addition, it helps teachers to make students to lose the embarrassed to speak in front of the class or simply tells others what they think about something.
However, the problem is that many teachers do not like to let students say what they think or what they have not understood, many of them just dedicate their time to talk and talk to the students without knowing if the they  are getting the idea or if the students are still bagging with doubts, or even  teachers might noticed that the  students’ face are confused,  and they still continue with the class as if nothing were happening  on students  learning process. When there are many strategies to use to make students  to participate in the classroom, such  as think pair  to share  which in  my opinion,  it would be  a good  way to make students to share their ideas and to make them feel comfortable enough to deliberate their thoughts. Moreover, Teachers may take an advantage to let students to release their opinions and discussions because at that time teachers can provide feedback to the students or help them to have a clear idea about any doubt. To conclude, it seems to me that letting students to participate in the classroom has many advantages.

Week12: Helping  students to develope different projects


The article for this week was quite interesting for me because it talks about how to make students create their own project in the classroom being motivated by their teachers. Additionally, in my opinion making these kinds of activities in the classroom makes students be motivated to develop new skills at the time to be working with their classmates and their teachers, too.  It is important to mention that teachers are required to give constantly feedback to the students and to monitoring their jobs, making agreement in the kind of projects that are going to be presented and the best way to do it for the students .In addition, teachers must make emphasis in what would be the purpose to do the projects because many times students are asked to do projects without any reason, and it might make students feel unmotivated to do their work. It is not as if teachers develop an encourage environment telling the students what they are going to develop will help them to improve their skills, or that they are going to discover new things. Moreover, Teachers should prepare students for the language, skill, and content demands presented by the final written display an oral presentation before are presented because it provides the  opportunity to practice pronunciation, intonation, and to be prepared to make a good project.
